Why Work for grid-line?
We offer some of the best pay programs in the flatbed industry. We pay 74.5% of 100% of the line haul. Grid-Line Transportation pays 100% of all accessorial charges to Owner-Operators, like fuel surcharge, stop offs, and detention. Detention is paid after the customer pays Grid-Line. Owner-Operators also receive safety incentives yearly, upon passing DOT inspections.
Plate Program
You have the option purchase plates through us. Our plates are acceptable in 48 states. We will pass the cost to you through weekly settlement deductions. There will be no up-charge for purchasing plates through us.
Fuel Card
We offer a fuel card acceptable through almost all fuel stop facilities. We have fuel discounts at various fuel stations and give 100% of the discount of fuel directly to the owner-operator.
IFTA, UCR, Insurance
IFTA and UCR permits and provided and filed. No need to worry about filing those quarterly fuel tax reports. All insurance required is provided and Physical Damage coverage is available through us.
Other Paid Services
Drug testing and alcohol testing is paid for. We also pay for your equipment inspections at our approved facilities in East Chicago, IN and South Holland, IL.
Grid-Line Transport issues checks or direct deposit weekly to our drivers and owner-operators. We can either issue a company check and have it mailed to you or have it picked up. We offer direct deposit and can have the option to have your settlement e-mailed to you or viewed online at your convenience.
